Fernando Alcalde creates porcelain pieces which explore the beauty of the usefulness. The artist gets inspiration from nature and turns something simple into something exquisite as in Japanese minimalism. In his studio in Cuenca, he has created for OA Madrid a series of trays with a matching bowl which serves different functions: it is perfect for individual meals similar to the regular bentobox or it is useful to open out the appetizer plates, for example. The possibilities are infinite. They are available in three sizes and they are valued at over 300euros.

The Sander Stada’s new jewels are already available in OA. This Dutch artist has created a series of necklaces with an oblique and unpredictable look. Each necklace is a unique piece; the artist uses foam balls, fluorescent diamonds which get illuminated in the dark or the UFOs of the famous videogame Space Invaders. These small fetishes make possible that humor, irony and the absurd take control of our daily life. The Stada’s necklaces are valued at over 150euros.
